Product claims are easy to make; long-term client relationships are harder to earn. Looking at BlueSword's roughly three-decade history through a handful of its most significant partnerships — China Post, Vipshop, and a Fortune 500 daily chemical company — gives a clearer picture of what its systems deliver in practice.

China Post & Youngor: High-Density Cloud Warehousing at Scale

China Central Television covered China Post's push toward direct-to-factory express delivery, citing BlueSword's intelligent warehouse system as a notable example of the operational efficiency behind that shift. The China Post Apparel No. 1 Smart Cloud Warehouse, developed jointly with Ningbo Post Branch and menswear brand Youngor, runs 126 shuttle robots and 7 lift systems continuously across more than 50,000 SKUs, processing orders at up to one parcel per second.

In 2021 alone, the facility shipped over 6 million pieces of Youngor apparel across China, representing the highest level of scale and operational complexity in apparel logistics within the China Post system.

Vipshop Partnership: Scaling Shuttle Robot Systems Across 5 Mega Projects

BlueSword's relationship with Vipshop began in 2015, before most companies had prioritized warehouse automation, built around compatibility between BlueSword's Honeycomb integrated storage-and-picking system and Vipshop's fast-in, fast-out business model. BlueSword initially proposed a Robot-as-a-Service model through self-built smart warehouses — and once Vipshop saw the results, it shifted from leasing to purchasing outright, leading to five completed projects.

The numbers from those projects: the South China facility processed nearly 150,000 orders during China's 2017 Singles' Day (11.11) shopping festival with just 8 operators at 12,000 cartons per hour. The Southwest facility runs 410,000 turnover totes with storage capacity up to 8 million items and peak processing of 900,000 items daily. The East China facility, with 165,600 storage locations and 360 shuttle robots, improved efficiency by a third over the Southwest deployment.

Underlying all of this is BlueSword's shuttle robot system, first developed in 2011. Over more than a decade, it has been deployed in more than 10,000 units across thousands of projects, with a system alarm rate as low as 0.005% — the kind of reliability track record that matters more than a spec sheet when a client is choosing a long-term automation partner.

Global Fortune 500 Validation: Compliance, Performance, and International Expansion

BlueSword's work with a global Fortune 500 consumer goods and home care company for FMCG warehouse automation opened the door to international markets, with every stage — planning, product development, execution, and maintenance — designed to applicable EN 528 requirements, with specified safety-related control functions achieving PL d under ISO 13849-1, and the full system carrying CE certification from TÜV Rheinland. That validation has translated into multiple domestic and overseas contracts with a cumulative value in the hundreds of millions.

Delivering that system meant analyzing the client's annual order structure and supply chain characteristics in depth — land resources, inventory levels, throughput, safety, disaster recovery, and technology readiness — to build a solution balancing both inventory and flow. Stacker cranes running at up to 240 m/min, coordinated through multiple scheduling algorithms, keep system parallelism high and workload balanced, while intelligent coordination between pallet AS/RS and multi-layer shuttle systems supports direct factory-to-customer fulfillment — shortening the supply chain in ways that show up directly in consumer goods logistics cost and efficiency.

BlueSword's client list extends well beyond these examples — China Tobacco, FAW, CATL, and Muyuan among them — but the pattern across all of them is consistent: sustained, expanding partnerships built on delivered results rather than one-off projects.
