Dr. Ken Liu Speaks on Next-Gen GTP Systems at SSCL Singapore

On November 6–7, BlueSword’s Senior Vice President, Dr. Ken Liu, attended the 4th Smart Supply Chain and Logistics Convention in Singapore, where he was invited as a guest speaker to deliver a keynote session titled “Next Generation Case Handling & GTP (Goods-to-Person) Systems — Flexible, Intelligent, Highly-Productive.”

During his presentation, Dr. Liu highlighted how China’s rapidly expanding e-commerce sector and densely configured warehouses continue to redefine the development of case-handling technologies. He noted that high order volumes and increasingly complex SKU structures have accelerated the evolution of new-generation systems such as BlueSword’s Spider Sky-Shuttle series, designed for mixed-SKU handling, compact layouts, and steady throughput in high-pressure environments.

Dr. Liu also shared emerging trends in GTP workflows, where system performance increasingly relies on tight coordination between storage shuttles, AMRs, and ergonomic workstations. By improving synchronization across these components, GTP operations can maintain stable cycle times even during peak-order surges—an area where intelligent scheduling and flexible system design are becoming critical.
